It’s that time again: Weekly Meal Plans.
The photo above is a light meal/hearty snack the big kids and enjoyed last week. Homemade sourdough bread with broiled mozzarella, sliced tomatoes and garlic salt and pepper. So. Good. Not too bad health-wise yet it seems very indulgent!
This week’s meals:
*Spicy red beans and rice
*Homemade Pizza
*beef and bean enchiladas
*homemade hamburger helper
*potato soup and sourdough bread
*teriyaki pork loin

This week we’re having:
bbq sandwiches, coleslaw
potato bar- baked potatoes with lots of toppings
homemade pizza- our favorites are bbq and cheesy spinach
grilled steak and vegetable kabobs- we’re supposed to have great warm weather this week
meatloaf, mashed potatoes and peas
vegetable lasagna and salad
broccoli soup with diced ham and homemade rolls
we do grits, pancakes, eggs, oatmeal or fruit for breakfasts and sandwiches, salads, or leftovers for lunches
I haven’t gotten to this week’s list yet, but on last week’s menu was tacos, crockpot chicken (with peas, asparagus, and green beans), grilled chicken (with rice, asparagus, and salad), stir fry (more italian than chinese with chicken, parsley, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, garlic, and spinach), and grilled steak (with mashed potatoes, green beans, and salad).
Those things you show in the picture are also really yummy with sliced zucchini in between the cheese and tomato. My mouth waters just thinking of it!
Your chalupa recipe has become a favorite here in my household, too! I’m so glad you shared it, because we love it!! 🙂
Thanks! I love that it’s cheap, healthy and feeds crowd!
