This weekend my sister-in-law left with four of her beautiful children. Thankfully, to ease our parting a bit, she left her son Elijah. Either that or Elijah is having a blast hanging out with Enoch and going to work with him every day. Either way, we’re glad to keep him for a bit. So, that was the sad part of our weekend. It was quickly followed by the FUN part.
Have you ever been to a fake wedding? A wedding with a bride and groom and flower girl and cake and presents, that was all just pretend? Well, that is what we got to do this weekend. Unless you live in a cave with no internet (in which case you probably aren’t reading this post right now) you have probably seen The Best First Date video. This video, starring Aaron and his daughter Annalynn, went wild all over the internet. On Father’s Day this year he is releasing a second video with a brand new song…and we got to be a part of it. Aaron and his crew staged an entire wedding for his new video. Can you imagine? It was so much fun to be there supporting Aaron and his vision and filling the church pews with warm Bergeron bodies.
And since my kids were dressed up and looking sharp, I asked Avi and Tucker if I could take a few photos. They were wonderfully cooperative (an unusual event for sure!)
Avi was a beautiful baby when we met her at the age of three days old….but I can’t even believe how beautiful she is becoming as a young lady…Seriously? Look at that face! Those eyes! The hair!
And Tucker? He’s not so bad looking himself!
^^^ He is obviously practicing The Smolder. Better lock up your girls….
I hope you have a great Monday! I have a few fun posts coming up. One on how to choose your first DSLR camera and about a great reading app for little ones…

I will have to watch the video as I am totally clueless. Although I’m not a big Utube fan. Been spending most of the time on the Internet trying to decide if our caterpillars are indeed dying or about to turn into chrysaliss. Unfortunately my best guess is the former. Trying to figure out who Aaron is. I’m assuming it’s one of the Bergeron clan. Although I didn’t think the dad’s name was Aaron so I’m a little confused. I’m also reading this on my phone on a walk so I could be missing some details

Clueless here too, but can’t wait to see it. How fun. And yes, those kiddos of yours are stunning!

Oh I love that video! How exciting that you got to be a part of the newest one.
Love those pictures of you children especially among the wildflowers!

Yes, I can’t wait to see the new one! I’ll post a link as soon as it is out. This is honestly just a tiny patch in our side yard…I should take a pull-back shot so people can see. It is amazing what you can do with small spaces if you have vision.

I remember being so over-the-moon excited when my Dad’s workplace had the Daddy/Daughter Dances. I always got a corsage – a major reason carnations are one of my two favorite flowers (the other are red roses, because Paul sent me a dozen to my office the day after we got engaged). My older two sisters and I dressed up and went to a dinner dance with my Dad. Oh now I miss him now! I hope he knows how amazing those memories are <3 Thanks for sharing.
