Don't you just love them? Especially nine year old boys?
My nine year old boy recently acquired a goldfish from Wal-Mart. When it was purchased he was told if it died within 90 days and he could return it. All he needed was the receipt and the dead fish. Well, yesterday Cream Puff passed away…so as we headed into town I told him to put the fish in a bag and grab the receipt and we'd try to return it.
Our day became complicated, so I told him to just to give me the fish and receipt and I'd return it.
So he handed me his wallet.
"Your receipt is in here?"
Yup.
"Soooo, where's the fish?"
It's in there too.
"Your dead gold fish is in your wallet?"
Yes…you told me to get the fish and the receipt…where did you expect me to put it?
"Um…I don't know"
For the record, the fish was in a plastic baggie…jammed in to one of the credit card slots.
HAHAHA! GROSS! Somehow I think that’s something my 9-year-old boy would have done, too. :o)

Love it! I have 2 boys 8 & 10 and I think the 8 year old would have done something like that….though without the baggie….love your blog & your family….we have 3 kids (1 by adoption) and would love to have a large family! You are inspiring!!
