BelleWood Acres Kindergarten Tour
I’ve been a mom for 19 years now, but I still have firsts. Last week was my first kindergarten field trip. We headed out to a local apple orchard (or as Apollo says, apple or-chid). The night before as I lay in bed, I heard the rain pounding down on our roof…and was dreading a cold, rainy field trip. Thankfully, it cleared up and we have beautiful, blue skies. Several of the kids were complaining of being hot…an understandable complaint for true Pacific Northwest Kids…it was at least 55 degrees outside.
BelleWood Acres is a huge local orchard with over 25,000 fruit trees! They grow over 30 varieties of apples, including the well-loved Honey Crisp apples. We were able to see how they grow, sort, clean and process their apples. The tour very quite thorough and informative.

Here’s to many more years of field trips!

So great! I love the fisheye!
THanks, Jen!
Looks amazing. I’ve got a sleepover at the zoo with my sons grade one class coming up. I’m actually quite excited about it! Love Belinda
That sounds like fun! As long as it’s WARM.
