I Scream, You Scream, We Love Ice Cream
Ice cream is one treat that everyone in our large family enjoys. And ice cream is one of those foods that is always, always better homemade. Over the years our large families have gone through several ice cream makers. I purchased this Cuisinart 2 Quart Ice Cream Maker four years ago and it is still going strong!

Cuisinart 2 Quart Ice Cream Maker
- easy to use
This ice cream maker does not use ice! You freeze the bowl that you make ice cream in. In the past, I have always hated messing with the ice and salt and then cleaning the mess up afterward. With this ice cream maker, you don’t need either. We store our bowl in the freezer so it is always ready if we get a craving for ice cream.
- easy to clean
All you need to do is wash out the bowl. No ice, no salt to deal with.
- quiet
The ice cream makers we have owned in the past made a huge racket as the ice and salt would churn around. This eliminated the ice and salt altogether, so the noise is just a low hum.
- make 2 quarts.
This is enough for everyone in our family to actually have some ice cream!
- Sturdy, stainless-steel construction
Cons of the Cuisinart 2 Quart Ice Cream Maker
- Pricey
At $73.99 this ice cream maker isn’t cheap. While I am thrifty (my husband might say cheap) I do not mind paying more for quality. With this ice cream maker, you get just that. We have been using this for 4 years, and it still works perfectly.
- Because you freeze the bowl itself (instead of using ice and salt) you might want to purchase a second bowl.

Conclusion:
I purchased this ice cream maker almost two years ago. We have used it many, many times and I have been 100% happy with it. Therefore, I am giving this a 5 out of 5 stars.
