Well, Apollo was generous enough to share his nasty cough-germs with me. I’m not surprised. He spent his two worst nights sleeping with his arms around my neck coughing (literally) in my face. So, I’m being dragged down with my first cold of 2015. I am currently sipping tea with lemon and honey and trying to lay low.
LEGO, LEGO, LEGO. Very likely the best toy ever invented. We purchased this Guardians of the Galaxy set for our party last month. Apollo loves to act out scenes…straight from his imagination since he’s never seen the movie.
I just ordered Apollo this LEGO Juniors Fire Emergency set to surprise him. I figure it will be a great activity as he adjusts to a quiet house now that his siblings are at school.

Have you seen these LEGO Junior sets? They use regular LEGO pieces but have special, simplified instructions geared toward 4-7 year olds. I can’t wait to watch Apollo put his new set together…and lets be honest, to take pictures and maybe even a video of the process…I can’t help it, I’m a photographer.
