I am sure you have heard of the Elf on the Shelf. This tradition has taken the internet by storm over the last couple of years. I don’t know about you, but the idea of teaching my children to “be good” because a little elf is watching and reporting to Santa is not a road I want to go down. I know, many families do it for fun only, but I still don’t like the underlying message. If you are looking for an Elf on the Shelf alternative then you really need to check out North Pole Ninjas.

Everyone knows about Santa and his elves who work diligently to make gifts for the children of the world. But have you heard of the North Pole Ninjas? The North Pole Ninjas also Santa’s helpers. They work under Santa’s sensei and do good deeds.

The North Pole Ninjas packaged set includes Santa’s sensei and an envelope full of secret missions for ninja’s eyes only.

The missions are printed on sturdy paper and are perforated so you can tear them apart.

I love the idea that this book encourages kids to do good deeds, think of others and not to boast about it! This book focuses on giving and doing good, instead of behaving to earn rewards.

Thoughts About North Pole Ninjas

Overall, I enjoyed North Pole Ninjas and feel like it is a great alternative to the Elf on the Shelf. Not only will this book shift the focus away from children and onto doing good. Not only that but it the included missions mean much of the work is done for you. No need to come up with your own list plenty of ideas are included.
